30 Apr The Indian factory of Blendhub expands its offering for customers requiring Halal Certification
The company offers them the possibility of optimizing their supply chain.
Premium Ingredients Food Services India, included in the trademark Blendhub, has developed new services for their customers in Southeast Asian countries, including those requiring Halal Certification. Premium Ingredients Food Services India offers them the possibility of optimizing their supply chain by incorporating new or alternative raw materials into their formulas, as well as reducing their tariff costs through the partial or global management of their supply chain.
Halal is an Arabic word meaning lawful and, when associated to food products, refers to those that a Muslim is permitted to eat, drink or use. For food producers and traders, it implies making sure that all the inputs, tools, machinery and labor used in the production, processing, storage and distribution chains of the products has been treated respecting this.
Aware of the importance of the Halal Certification for the agrifood markets in Asia, Premium Ingredients Food Services India applied for the accreditation for its plant in India in order to meet the needs of its customers in the Malaysian markets and obtaining it in July 2012.
Additionally to having a facility with Halal certification in India, Blendhub now offers customers the possibility to contract the management of their whole supply chain for obtaining raw materials in line with Islamic law, at the best possible price and in a transparent manner through Blendhub’s own formulas or making it available to its customers a map of raw materials producers to facilitate and optimize the management of their supply chain.
Blendhub, we are open, we are everywhere.
