30 May Blendhub supports the development of young people´s talent
The Murcian company hosts two groups of college students to complete their training through the Santander CRUE– Cepyme Internship Program
A total of seven college students have joined the team of Blendhub as part of the Santander CRUE-Cepyme Internship Program. Through this collaboration, the Murcian company, who is launching the new economic category of SMART Powder Blends, aims to contribute to the training and development of young talent as well as incorporating into company the knowledge, creativity and innovative potential of these future graduates.
The fellows of the Santander CRUE–Cepyme Internship Program will remain in Blendhub until September, along with a second group of three students who will join the company in July. They will enable the food business, in an expansion process, to strengthen its six centers of excellence –Formulation, Blending and Packaging, Supply Chain, Quality, IT and Finance– and generate a portfolio of potential future employees. For its part, the beneficiaries of the scholarship program will expand their knowledge and contact with the business world, which will facilitate future entry into the labor market.
Santander Bank developed this scholarship program in 2011, in collaboration with the Conference of Rectors of Spanish Universities (CRUE, in its Spanish acronym) and the Spanish Confederation of Small and Medium Enterprises (Cepyme, in its Spanish acronym). This year, out of the nearly 70,000 applications that were received from undergraduate students and more than 10,000 from small and medium enterprises, a total of 5,000 scholarships were awarded.
